Easter Monday

Much cooler - mainly due to a fresh breeze - but cloudless and probably going to be another scorcher. The wind blew all the petals from the cherry trees on Fairlight and they were dancing in the middle of the road in a mini pink twister.

Alfie Greyhound shamed me on the campsite - walking back from the woods we cut trough Shearbarn camping ground - which is packed to the gills. He decided to take a very public dump - made worse by the fact he's been eating grass and had a clod hang9ng out of his arse - meaning I had to wipe it off for him - thank Christ I had plenty of bags.

My mange tout are already up but nothing from the runner beans that went in a week earlier - I have a feeling they have failed - which is a shame - I'll examine the raised beds later and then probably re-plant with something else.

I'm teaching tomorrow - have some work to catch up on, but only a 2 day week. I also have to call the revenue tomorrow to ask why the tax I've been paying over the last 3 years has not been taken into account when I'm sent tax bills - and why my online tax return does not take into account personal allowances until you get the summary - and there is nowhere to add your paid tax and national insurance. I'm not looking forward to that.

Had a really weird dream about making a TV documentary for BBC1 about a woman who was batting the NHS to get hypercondria recognised as a 'real' illness.
