Woke up feeling nauseus. 'Seasonal' weather - meaning clear but much cooler. I'm cycling to work - spent half a day last week replacing my tyres - so I'll have to dress for the cold morning and the hot afternoon.
Had a horrible dream - all the teaching staff at work were forced to live in a cheap hotel during term time with people who had been teaching decades and had withered and turned white, the bathrooms were shared and the toilets constantly overflowing. Horrible.
Foxes woke the dogs up at 4.30am - I had to go downstairs and put them back to bed. I can now do this without waking up. Neither dog wanted to go for a walk today - I don't think they are too keen on the heat - but have not twigged that I'm going to be away at work again today and tomorrow - so they will be grumpy with me later.
Bit sad about Polly / Mariane - quite depressing when peers die ( well - she was 10 years older than me) but still a big part of my formative years - I still got a huge thrill seeing her in the shops.
