Wednesday - and it's pretty horrible.

Thick fog and drizzling rain, still pitch dark and cold. Yesterday the house was freezing - I wore a woolly hat in the studio and fantasized about fingerless gloves.

Masses to do today and a meeting afterwork about another acronym. I also have a meeting with someone senior about how to put things up on the wall - I'm not joking, I really am. Any you thought Egypt had problems.

The cat appears to be out of the bag, the next Decadence party will be at The Masonic Hall on Royal Wedding night - I shall be working again. I'm going as 'Cok-erney Dick, St Leonard's only singing Pearly King'. I have a lot of buttons to sew onto my 2nd best suit. One of the organisers is making a pack of stuffed corgis - we shall be having organised dog fights. Rather than bunting we are stringing up hundreds of pairs of knickers - if anyone has any spare - you can drop them off at the Pier Shop ( Albert Greens ), but please.... they must be clean. That reminds me... I need a bowler hat. I am totally tone deaf but for some reason I can sing quite well in French, or comedy accents - my Dick Van Dyke Larn-darn isn't bad at all.

Did more work on my new website last night - I'm sure you are all gagging at the bit to get a peek - you will find it quite dull, I like a lot of white space and not much else. Watched a very good documentary about the moon last night, really liked the presenter - she was very engaging. For some reason I woke up with a stonking headache - but slept pretty well for a change. I'm reading 'Wish You Were Here' by Travis Elborough at the moment - very interesting musings on us Brits ad or relationship with the Sea Side. It's very good and has many unexpected parallels with things I've done in my life.

Egypt is still on the brink of ... I don't know what. Mubarak seems to be totally deluded or detached from reality, I found this image - I think it's actually a film still, but it pretty much sums things up.
