I'm up early - since 5am. I have to go on a course this morning to learn Wordpress. I tried it once about 2 or 3 years ago and didn't like it. In anticipation I had a go last night and found it pish easy. It's a beginners course and I may find myself bored and skulking off by lunchtime.
I quite fancied the scriptwriting weekend that they advertised, a friend who is a journalist went but said it was a mistake - the course and tutors were OK but she was quite critical of some of the students and their reasons for being there ( "it was like a therapy session for life's casualties" ). I might go to the next one, that sounded fun. I was really tempted to start going to evening classes after watching Fight Club. When you live in London whole swathes of the population spend their evenings in the relentless pursuit of evening education ( it's cheaper than a dating service, *taps nose!* ).
Watching Egypt in chaos on live TV is quite depressing, but mesmerising. Cameron is looking increasingly shiny faced and boggle eyed -it's all a bit like P.G.Woodhouse on mescalin. There was just an interview on the telly with a bloke lamenting poor service by an investment broker that left him penniless - he had xmas cards on the mantlepiece - so I suspect it may have been recorded - they had tried to blur them... but no amount of soft focus can disguise a Snowflake.
Last night I had a very strange and unsettling dream about a job interview that required me to sing the theme tune to 'Butterflies" - and in the morning at 5am when the alarm went off, there was a news story that included the same song - rather sinister - Final Destination style, I'm probably going to come to a dreadful end later today - hit by a truck with the numberplate BTF 1LY or attacked Priory Meadow by escaped generically modified vampire moths that strip me to the bone in front of horrified shoppers.
Just waiting for it to get light enough to walk the dogs *drinks coffee and mongs out on the web*
