Epic first day fail.

Today was horrible. Cold, wet, dark, damp - the partial eclipse kept it to a leaden half light until 9.30ish. Sat through a 3 Hour presentation that was dull, clunky, poorly presented and badly rehearsed. Powerpoint is still the worst form of visual communication ever created. None of it made me feel better - much of it made me feel much worse, including stuff that made me feel very, very bleak. In the end I came home early before I did something stupid. In addition...

The battery on my Mac Book has died and will only work when plugged into the charger

I have broken my compact digital camera - it's fucked. I can't afford a new one.

My main G5 is on it's last legs - it probably just needs a good service and some tinkering, but I can't afford it.


My mobile, even though I hardly use it, is playing up badly.


My bike needs stripping and servicing


I still need a USB 800/400 converter and don't want to pay for a new one myself.
