'Xmas' Tuesday

... is there such a thing?

The odd effect of Xmas starting in November is that it was all over by about 3pm on Xmas day - I've even heard rumours of Easter Eggs in Tesco. It doesn't feel like Xmas was ever here. Oddly enough - I had a really nice time. Apart from my unexpectedly lovey day on Saturday - I went round to a friends house yesterday expecting turkey sandwiches and found it was a formal meal with fine wine, guests and presents - thank God I wore clean clothes.  I've not watched any Xmas telly and I've drunk nothing at all at home. I now have a stack of work to do, and I need to find a large amount of black felt to make 200 moustaches for NYE. I also need to pay my phone bill. If you have been following Grey Area you will know that it's always a major problem for me, BT usually go to a lot of trouble NOT to take my money. Now that I've signed up for online payments I thought it would be easier.. but no - it still refuses to take my money, meaning I have to go through the trauma of calling them up and fucking about for an hour... I'm starting to get annoyed now.

It's much milder, the snow is now gone, everything in the garden is dead and it's very dark and overcast. I'm running into town quickly this morning - then back to 'propper' work this afternoon.

The Sun have gone to a lot of trouble to engineer the front page photograph to show the boyfriend of the dead landscape architect facing the camera in a sinister way, I'm actually 90% sure its a composite of two other images. Most readers in the comments boards across the papers are behaving like utter twats on this story - stupid theories and absurd comments. The papers are not allowed to run comments when a case is at trial - personally I think they should do the same with any 'supposed' crime.
