Wish Me Luck...

Table Sale today! - I have everything packed and the lovely Jane is giving me a lift down there - she only has a smart car but I used the wonders of Google to check the volume of the boot. I've been shamelessly marketing myself on Facebook all week and have even offered to sell kisses. I really need to make a decent profit today - stacks of bills to pay.

Nothing in the papers again - except a growing 'storm' over a comment Louis Walsh made on last night X Factor - by some freak it was on the telly in my office - and I caught it. There was an excruciatingly bad act by a tubby black chap who seemed to be playing it for laughs - and Louis Walsh said it was a little bit Lenny Henry - meaning... a tubby black man playing it for laughs. The commentators are aghast - saying that the only point of reference is his ethnicity - therefore HE MUST BE RACIST!!!!! The judges on that show are nutters, heaping praise on barely talented, desperate, pointless pub singers - telling them they are brilliant, gifted and special - it's absurd. He reminded me of Lenny Henry too, a tubby black chap who seemed to be playing it for laughs. The one called 'Chair' if a horrible little wench - the way she curled her lip in a petulant little sneer when she was criticised for a performance of such parody and pastiche revealed her for the chavaganza she is. Perhaps that's the whole point....

I had much more fun watching the increasingly deluded and deranged Patsy Kensit on the other channel - she is actually morphing into that other Patsy - the one from Ab Fab. I spent years working in that industry and I can tell you - all of those people are drawn from life.

Woolly hat weather today on the long dog walk and due to take a turn for the worse later with 'proper' winter weather due this afternoon. I should be home in time for Countryfile - and I'm working at home tomorrow for the first time in what seems like ages.
