It's very early, still dark ( the bulb in the office blew last night -that might be part of it ) and it's pissing down - with more rain expected all day.
Not much in the papers, mostly raking over the X factor coals and frenzied anticipation over tonight's 'Celebrity' - neither of which interest me.
Not sure how I feel about events in Burma - some papers suggest it may be a rather hollow victory and short lived - I suspect she had far more power inside than out... but I bet she was getting sick of that wallpaper.
Some news outlets are reporting that the British couple who were kidnapped by Somali Pirates have been released after a private donation £1million - but nothing on the BBC.
I went out yesterday afternoon and had a couple of drinks with a client in the Dragon Bar - very nice it was too. Apparently I under-charge...
I'm working at home tomorrow and looking forward to it. I need a shave - I have a 3 week beard and that takes about half an hour and 2 days recovery time. The house is a mess and needs a good clean up and the attic is piled high with stuff to sort out.
I'm also broke until I get paid which will be at least 2 weeks - and I have a large and important print job being delivered tomorrow ( allegedly ) and I have a bad feeling about it - I've lost all confidence in the printers and it's been a nightmare project. I'm half minded to never print anything ever again.
Quite a bit to do today - several things include xmas projects... and you know how I feel about that. I also need to write a few proposals and do some 'clever' thinking for work..... I can feel my head begin to spin already.
p.s. - best piece of copy writing in years.... from an article on Gordon Ramsey in the Independent
"The Cook, The Grief, His Wife and His lover"
