Regular Sunday Night Insomnia

I've been up since 3am again - it's after 4 now and I don't need to leave for work for another 4 hours. At least it's not cold. The house is in near daylight and soles of feet for hair and pentangles ).

I could be practical and tackle paperwork or watch something on iplayer - but I'm listening to re-runs of Radio 4 comedy on BBC7 and wondering if I should cook a breakfast. This time last week I made a casserole.

I'm checking out the TV for tonight ( I'll never se 9pm ) and I noticed Aleysh Dixon is hosting a 'hard hitting' program about domestic violence called 'Don't hit my mum'.... words fail.

Started watching the Andrew Marr 'Making Of Modern Politics' last night - but it made me depressed and angry - I think we get enough mendacity and self interest with modern politics - I don't need to know about The Kennedys.

I moved the office around yesterday - I have brought the big refectory table upstairs now that I have a new, smaller dining room table - it's much better and more roomy up here now - and I face the back wall so that the computer screen does not catch the light from the window... that might sound pretty dull but actually, anything that improves my quality of life is welcome.

I had a bit of spare cash hanging about this weekend - I was tempted to run the bike down to TKMAXX and buy a jumper - but instead I spent precisely nothing.... I didn't even buy a newspaper. I wonder how little I can manage to spend this week ( should be next to nothing - I've had enough practice )... in fact... I seem to have totally lost the ability to part with cash.

Yes... I'm rambling now... it's still only 4.24 and I've already ready the papers...
