Washed Out

Outside The Stag, last night.

I'm really knackered today - and I'd forgotten what this house is like when it gets cold. The papers were generally dull except The Observer - full of really good stuff this week - most of it industry based - but pretty accessible.

Have a load of work to do and a stack of paperwork later, including masses of writing. It's going to take me a while to get my head straight enough to knuckle down.

All is quiet again after last night - in fact I noticed that there were almost no fireworks once I left the seafront - fairly unusual - and I thought there were less people walking up and down the hill too.

I was pretty pissed off on the way home - some fool had taken a dog ( little shaggy terrier ) which was obviously terrified and he was trying to calm it down - and later a large crossbreed was loose outside the Filo - running erratically around the crowds on a right state - the owner caught up with it and caught his collar - and then proceeded to admonish it - for fucks sake - you were the wanker who took a dog to a torchlit bonfire procession with fireworks and 30, 000 people - you knobhead. I could have punched him.

I just realised I have to archive my hard drive and do some housekeeping.... 1000s of files to sort and hundreds of images.... bugger.
