Yesterday was all of the above, and more.
Thanks to an incompetant printer and a difficult client I ended up having a near breakdown, pulling the phone off the wall after much screaming and just walking out for 2 hours to calm down. By the time I got back I was good for nothing and it took me all day to calm dowm.
Afterwards I had stir fry - and after one mouthful, gave it to the dogs.
In other news - the people next door have finally done something about their front garden. I know it's a bit naff to get worked up about things like that - but it was a mess and they had a massive thatch of bindweed that was crawling up the street to my house - moving at about 2 feet a day. They scrubbed it all up - put down what looked like a bedsheet and a load of slate chippings. Hardly Kew Gardens but a lot better.
The news is really dull. It's all about bloody Naomi Campbell again. How the fuck anyone expects 3 bitch women who clearly hate each other to remember what happened at a party more than 10 years ago, escapes me.
I'm really unhappy that Experion and other credit agencies are being drafted in to manage benefit payments and approvals. They have massive power over our lives already and offer very little scrutiny or recourse. Of course I can see the logic - but it's not the sort of thing I would thought should be outsourced. We will become a 'computer says no' nation very quickly.
Watched the Simon Amstel vehicle last night. Very self concious and over done. I thought it was laboured and a bit tired - and suffered with central miscasting.... which was kinda the problem.
