Despite yesterday's physical exertions - feeling pretty good today - but I did have a lie in.
watched the marathon on the computer and did some general cleaning up - the house isn't as bad as I thought - the mess was on the surface. Finding it interesting that the newspapers have al gone 'on message' with the Olympics - calling them 'The Greatest Ever " ( Daily Telegraph - who have spent 7 years tearing them to pieces ) - The media often mistake British self depreciation with self loathing. I have no interest in competitive sports - but I salute hard work, talent and determination. I'm also impressed on a technical level - I don't like the branding but a MASSIVE amount of work has gone into graphics and communication - the camera work on the marathon was excellent - people with TV's tell me that all the filming has been spectacular - and London looks great.
I may take tomorrow off, and use the time to catch up - I half agreed last week - just to go in for a de-brief and pick up my bike. The chain on my other bike kept catching yesterday - turned out that the sprocket was clogged with oil and dog hair.
The odd smell in my kitchen has been identified. I have a bin for compost - and it was full of old salads, I'd accidently put the remains of tuna salad in there without thinking - not clever.
Last night I dreamed that my teeth all fell out again.
