It's pissing down, proper rain. I had earlier considered the fate of my tomato plants - which look scrawny, tired and fruitles ( hardly any flowers and a few pathetic green swellings ) - I came to the conclusion I probably couldn't be bothered with them any more. I had decided to to go to the effort of watering them - but nature intervenes.
Worked really hard yesterday - the people in the downstairs studio were at the Olympics so it was very quiet - managed to get loads done. More of the same today.
It seems I was not alone in my pain yesterday, we have identified the bowl of complimentry nuts that we all had access to on Friday as the source of our digestive misery - the only person who escaped unmolested didn't have any.
The Mit Romney road show trundles on, without rest - listening to someone on the radio now trying to defend him. He's almost as deranged. I keep trying to tell myself that 'it will never happen'.
After the excitement of the opening ceremony - I've totally lost interest in the olympics - it can stay tat way until the end, although - I have to say - pretty much everyone else has been quite keen. I put it down to not having a TV.
Last night - the middle aged couple who have moved into the end house were away, and what I assume to be their teenage son was there - 2nd time it's happened - and he had a party in the garden. He's a twat - makes a lot of noise and pisses off all the neighbours. had to move to the front of the house in the end - had a fantasy about smashing his face to a bloody pulp with a half brick.
Had a couple of vague conversations about renting office space yesterday - might be a good idea.
